As Director of Private Wealth for Brouwer & Janachowski, Tony is committed to creating a superior private client experience and delivering on our promise to provide clients with the the highest quality services to meet their important lifetime goals. His responsibilities include establishing the firm’s best business practices, developing marketing and future-focused strategies while leading, recruiting and coaching Brouwer & Janachowski’s team of financial advisors.
Prior to joining the firm, he was Managing Director of Bernstein Private Wealth Management for Northern California. As Managing Director, Tony was responsible for overall revenue growth, sales production and providing leadership in the comprehensive sales strategies and engagement for the region. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Market Manager for the San Francisco region of Wells Fargo Private Bank. In addition, he has held senior leadership positions at the Bank of Hawaii, City National Bank, Sanford C. Bernstein, Alex Brown and Fidelity Investments. Tony has been in the wealth management industry for 25 years.
Tony holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a BBA from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia. Tony is currently a Board Member and Trustee of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Greater Bay Area and a Trustee of the Board of Directors of the Positive Coaching Alliance in Palo Alto, California. He is a past member of the Board for the Historic Hawaii Foundation in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a past Chair of the Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.
